Although I have yet to have an actual OOBE, I do get a number of effects. These include deep meditation, feeling of floating fingers or hands or arms, bobbing side to side or up and down, changes to the way things sound in the room, vibrations and more vibrations. I've even heard sounds that don't seem to be associated with my apartment. In the end, the sound of my breathing is extremely loud and sounds like I"m in a cave. I'm sticking with this until I finally achieve an OOBE.
