It took a few tries for me to feel Driftwave but it’s very nice! It has a slow build but at about the 15 -20 minute mark, you start to feel a sense of bliss. I find myself smiling as my mind and body relax and sink into peace. Every bit of tension melts and it’s hard to remember why you were even stressed in the first place. For someone with PTSD and severe anxiety, this dose is a gift. It’s like being wrapped in a blanket by someone whispering, “It’s okay. Everything is okay and beautiful…”. Your mind still feels pretty clear, there is no “trip”, but everything feels ideal. I usually put it in a slipstream for bed although it usually doesn’t immediately put me to sleep. (I know it’s technically not a sleep dose) I think it makes falling asleep easier but to be honest, you won’t mind if you’re still awake because you’ll be too blissfully calm to care!
